When it comes to digital scrapbooking, I like to have a good stock of basic papers that can be used on a wide variety of pages. This helps to stretch my supplies further, yet keeps my pages looking unique and fresh.
Today I have a fantastic set of papers to share with you that I’m confident you’ll be using over and over again. Each paper measures 12″ x 12″.
It all began in 1928 when Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse. I don’t think anyone could have imagined the iconic character that he could become. Today, Mickey Mouse is celebrating his 90th birthday and I am thrilled to be celebrating alongside him.
My earliest Disney memory dates back to when I was five years old. My entire extended family was on vacation at the most magical place on Earth and I chose a stuffed Mickey Mouse to remember our trip by. Little did I know what this place would come to mean to me in the years to come or the thousands of treasured memories that I would make here with my own little girl one day.
Thanksgiving has definitely snuck up on me this year. I thought I still had a few weeks until the holiday arrives, but in fact it will be here in less than a week. We’ve had our inflatable turkey, affectionately named Mr. Gobble Gobble, up in our yard since just after Halloween. However, I still did not realize just how quickly Thanksgiving was coming.
Each year as I reflect upon the blessings in my life, I always feel like there are so many things to be thankful for. This year, I feel especially grateful and I look forward to spending this day of thanks with the people that mean the most to me.
The morning that we discovered The Dapper Doughnut, it had already been a very long day of traveling. It had been nine hours since we had woken up in Georgia, and thanks to a series of events beyond our control, we had yet to have anything to eat that day. We found ourselves standing in a mall in Broomfield, Colorado and there’s no way to sugar coat it- I was hangry.
The Dapper Doughnut stood like a ray of sunshine in the brightly lit food court. The small stand featured a cute logo, a charming chalkboard menu, and the most delightful aroma. Instantly, I noticed a few things that set The Dapper Doughnut apart from many of the doughnut shops I have visited in the past. Most notably, the doughnuts here are mini doughnuts. Additionally, there are no cases of pre-made doughnuts here. At The Dapper Doughnut, each and every doughnut is made fresh to order. The doughnut machine is easily visible, so not only do you get a yummy treat, but you get to enjoy the experience of watching them be made.
I feel like autumn just arrived, but here we are a week away from Thanksgiving. The air feels cool, the colorful leaves are falling from the trees, and I can finally wear the collection of sweaters that have been sitting dormant in my closet. Pumpkin candles are burning in my living room and apple scented soap resides by our kitchen sink.
I absolutely love autumn. This collection of Autumn Word Art celebrates one of my favorite times of the year.

About this Book
Things couldn’t be better at Litwak’s Arcade- at least as far as Ralph is concerned. In Vanellope’s opinion, though, the ins and outs of her game, Sugar Rush, have become too routine. She’s craving a brand-new challenge. So, Ralph tries to bring some excitement to the game, but things quickly go off the tracks! It will be up to our favorite dynamic duo to venture into the Internet. Will they save Sugar Rush and the world of Litwak’s as we know it? It’s your call as to which paths they take. Will you help them succeed with flying colors or will it be the end of the road for Sugar Rush?
To say that Raileigh is fascinated with outer space is truly an understatement. She has always enjoyed stargazing and learning about the planets, but in recent years this interest has flourished. She spends countless hours reading about new discoveries, watching live talks with astronauts, and researching our vast galaxy.
One of Raileigh’s favorite things to do is track the International Space Station. In case you are not familiar with the ISS, it is an artificial satellite orbiting the Earth. The purpose of this space station is to serve as an international laboratory within the space environment. The first portions of the ISS launched from Russia in 1998 and it has been continually manned since late 2000. The International Space Station is a result of the joint efforts of Japan, Canada, the Russian Federation, the United States, and eleven member states of the European Space Agency.
Yesterday my husband shared some sports news with me that made me incredibly excited. The MiLB has announced a new team that will make their debut in the 2020 season. Introducing the Rocket City Trash Pandas. This AA Affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels is currently playing in Mobile, AL as the Mobile BayBears. In 2020, they will make the move to Madison, AL and assume a new identity in the process.
Why does this news have me so excited? Well, there are numerous reasons. I am a huge fan of Minor League Baseball. In fact, I prefer going to MiLB games much more than Major League Baseball games. Tickets very close to the field are inexpensive, though any seat is usually fantastic. Players are more approachable, often talking to kids and signing autographs. The atmosphere in a minor league stadium is fun and exciting, making for the perfect family outing.
One day early on in our trip to Colorado, we found ourselves with some free time. Surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery I have ever seen, we simply began to drive. We began in Boulder, driving past Boulder Creek, before finding ourselves in Nederland. From Nederland, we began heading north on Highway 72.
This portion of Highway 72 is part of the Peak to Peak National Scenic Byway. The Peak to Peak Scenic Byway was established in 1918 and has the distinction of being the oldest scenic byway in Colorado. The byway stretches for 55 miles, from I-70 in the south all the way to Estes Park in the north.
When I am creating a new digital scrapbooking layout, it isn’t unusual for me to use a lot of geometric shapes. The aesthetic is visually pleasing to my eye and fits my personal style perfectly. I feel that it enables me to showcase my photographs as well as the stunning scrapbooking supplies I am using.
Within this template, you will find circles in a wide variety of sizes. Some are cut from the background paper while others rest on top of it. The photo spot is a rectangle, allowing it to pop and stand out among all the circles.
