Last year I tried Document Your December and failed miserably. I was pretty disappointed that I didn’t complete the project as it was something that I had thoroughly looked forward to. In the months since, I have thought about the reasons that I wasn’t able to finish and the biggest reason is time. December is a month that is filled with many adventures- many more than most months. It’s truthfully hard to participate in all the fun and find time to document all of it.
To set myself up for success this year, I decided to make some things in advance. I will have less to do each day, which will hopefully mean I can complete my daily documenting.
One thing i have created is a set of daily journal cards. These cards measure 3″ x 4″ and are available in both portrait and landscape orientation. I have included cards foe days 1 through 31. Some people stop with Christmas on day 25, but I want to have the option of completing the entire month of December.
Even if you aren’t participating in Document Your December, make sure to grab these cards. They would work well for vacation albums as well as Project Life.
If you happen to use these cards, please let me know. I would love to see them in action. Make sure to follow Extra Sprinkle on social media and subscribe to our newsletter so that you don’t miss out any future free downloads.
